In turn, Mr. Pluch expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and drew attention to the fact that his first meeting in Uzbekistan took place with the leadership of the Ministry of Water Resources. There are similar aspects in the use of water resources between Uzbekistan and the Netherlands, - said Mr. Pluch. - For example, in the Netherlands, water resources also play an important role in relations with neighboring countries in the region. At the same time, since a significant part of the country's exports falls on the agri-food sector, the rational use of water resources is of great importance.
During the conversation, issues related to strengthening cooperation between the two countries in the field of water management, establishing an exchange of specialists in the framework of joint projects in the future, organizing seminars and training courses were discussed.
